Martin Nodell passes on

Martin Nodell- the creator of the original Green Lantern and the Pilsbury doughboy, passed away yesterday at 91. The man was a huge inspiration to me, and one of the truly nicest people that I've met in and around the comics industry. He always had a smile on his face and a friendly greeting at conventions, even after the passing of his beloved wife, Carrie, a couple of years ago. Carrie was his biggest cheerleader, and you could see the love the couple had for each other.

Rest In Peace, Marty-your light will never be extinguished.
