Mylo update.
Amazing things happened over the last few days.
On Thursday I visited Mylo in the daytime and fed him a whole bottle. (I'll probably write more on this and being a parent in a future post, but for now suffice it to say that it's a good thing I was assertive because otherwise he would have gavaged (tube fed) that bottle.)
So I feed him the whole bottle and go home thinking that he eats a few bottles a day.
He has eaten every bottle, all of each one, since then. This is the second day he's done that so if he keeps it up then tomorrow we're rooming in (staying at the hospital overnight) with Mylo in our room, all to ourselves. No tubes, no leaving him there to go home to sleep...we can even hold him and walk around the room! This would bring him home on Monday!
Coincidentally, my mom is coming in town tomorrow night. We planned this trip several weeks ago when we had to guess when Mylo might be coming home.
Yay for Mylo. He's a good eater!
