are you allergic to antibiotics?
I am. Or, at least, I think I am.
After a 10 day course of amoxicillin followed by a 10 day course of a chephalosporin, I got the hugest hives on my scalp, neck, chest, face, etc...they came and went for about 6 days so far. Now they are mostly going. If I'm really allergic to these kinds of meds it would explain the (previously) unexplained weird nomadic rash I got last year after having strep.
It would also make sense given the fact that my mom and sister are allergic too. I can honestly say I would have rather been in pain than in itch during the first day of hives, and maybe the second as well.
But now I know.
