Oh, I'm usually not, but role play has a funny way of doing things to your brain. Fanfic-wise, it's really ridiculous most of the time. RP-wise... not so much. :3

Plus I think I would have broken Lin if I'd asked for them in their robot forms. XD

I totally agree with you there. Before, whenever I saw pictures of human!Optimus, it was either looking like the stereotypical bishounen, an sagging and wizened old man, or a redneck/hillbilly. Before seeing this, this was the only human portrayal of him I could look at without feeling like puking. (OK, so it's still "bishounen," but at least he looks somewhat older.) And your work completely blows that one away. ;-)

Anyway, forgive my rambling; this is utterly amazing! Though I've never seen the picture from which it was based before. I'm curious, where did you find it?

I love that version of Optimus! And you're right, they aren't young things, they're mature and experienced warriors.

Of course, my other mental image for a human!Optimus is Peter Cullen!
