mail from college
or rather my first mail from a 4 year college,the whole "come be our student" routine:p it's all very intresting since I never got the chance to have colleges send me stuff when I was a senior in highschool. The big fat packet on my desk this afternoon was from the University of Fairbanks,Alaska. My forrestry prof had encouraged me to send in the info card.I had intially balked but he said that it was a good chance to start getting a feel for what's out there beyond the jr college circuit.
Haven't looked at the info yet,although they have a niffty mascot,the polar bear:)
In the box of food from Bob(who out did himself on the goody ratio) where two ROTK bookmarks,the kind with the charms on the end! I popped the ring off the Frodo/Sam one and am wearing it:p Yes ever the LOTR geek fan girl:p The other bookmark is Arwen,in a very dashing red/black/grey dress.
Now off to get lost in the glut of new ROTK fanfic uploaded at TLOM,my eyes may glaze over and cross:p
