President Bush has authorized the U.S. Marine Corps to recall 2,500 troops to active duty because there are not enough volunteers returning for duty in Afghanistan and Iraq, Marine commanders announced Tuesday.
Yes, our beloved leader has fucked up so bad that there are no longer enough people volunteering to go to Iraq and/or Afghanistan. So now they have to re-institute the draft, only now in the form of all the people who have already been there.
Now if you couldn't care less about this, if you would rather find out who Tom Cruise is fucking than know what legislation is going that will reduce you freedoms further, then I would suggest that you move on past this post, I would recommend you continue to live in your little world and continue to say nice things about everyone except for the celebrities whose lives you follow with rapt attention.
But if you actually care about this sort of thing,then get the fuck away from your computer and go talk about this, tell your friends, your neighbours, your enemies, everyone you can think of. Tell them to tell those assholes in Washington who claim to be our leaders that they need to actually do something for both the Iraqis and the Afghanis as well as for the Marines, Soldiers, Airmen, and Sailors who are dying for nothing.
