Wow, I just went through feminist and I found nothing in there to raise my ire. I'm half disappointed and half impressed.

[edit the first]
wow, this one, I just ... wow.

I was once asked what it is about christianity that I hate. I would like to correct an assumption there, I do not hate christianity, I find it humanly degrading and I find that in many cases it leads to a very sheepish attitude (which makes sense I mean they even refer to the masses as sheep in the bible, not to mention people being referred to as shepherds, but I digress). No I don't hate christianity, I hate what many people have let christianity become, and it's all organized religions, because with every single one there will always be a person at the top (I mean we're humans for the love of all, that's how it works) and while there are certainly many people who have led with grace and style, there are also several (I'm avoiding words like most or greater numbers as I don't really have any data to back that claim up) leaders who have abused the power granted to them, and by the way, I don't care what you say the power they have been given was given to them by the people, not God or Christ, but the people, and herein lies another problem I have. For many many years, the people in power in the church held absolute power, there was no way for ideas to be challenged, if you don't believe me please ask Galileo his opinions on this. Things are more open now I have no problem admitting, however that is not across the board. Especially in places where the conditions are more inhospitable than here in America. (like Iraq for an example) Anyway, like I said, I don't hate christianity, or what it stands for in many ways, I don't necessarily agree with it all, but I do have some respect for it.

On the other hand, most of the hymns, yeah they need to die.

[edit the second]
