What is one of the nicest things you've ever done for another person?
I once went for a walk when I lived in SF. Across the street (Geary is a big one) I saw a man with crutches leaning against a wall trying to hail the bus or a cab; but he couldn't stand out on the curb since he had nothing to lean on. I knew I was on a quick errand and I promised myself if he was still there when I got back, I needed to do something about it. When I came by 5 minutes later, he was still there. I hailed a cab, gave the driver $5, and told him to go pick that man up. I never saw if the guy was picked up, but it made me feel good to know I at least tried to help that poor guy.
