I've been soaking up a lot of stuff about touch pad interface instruments in the past few hours. There's something pretty exciting about that, particularly if our personal computers one day end up being something akin to Microsoft's Surface, or other things like it.
I've also learned about a pretty bad-ass program I may explore called Processing, rather than Pure Data, which my adviser is keen on pushing.
Also, a lot of the stuff I've been finding is pointing a lot at the University of Edinburgh. I should probably talked to tamanoir about that, since he's been there several times for conferences in Math. photonrecyler! Have you been there? Any info you can impart?
