her castle immaculate
a perfect princess
a tirara that sparkled
a royal blue dress
her knight in shining armour
just with one wish
transformed from a frog
with the aid of a kiss
her eyes shone like diamonds
an untainted heart
when introduced to reality
her world fell apart
her fairytale shattered
a nightmare day
an unhappy ending
a viscous decay
not locked in the tower
or lost in the wood
just opened her eyes
like she never could
her dress was in tatters
by the time of the ball
the spell had worn off
he was a frog afterall
her hair was not straightened,
her contacts not in,
she put on her glasses
and opened the gin.
she sparked up a rollie
head in her hands
while tears smudged her makeup
in her far away land

*really hates the line "like she never could" and i actually had a better one but i forgot it :(*
