"The new student center on campus will be named the Theodore R. and Karen K. Muenster University Center, thanks to a $5 million donation from the J.B. and M.K. Pritzker Family Foundation."
Not that I'm diametrically opposed to any policies Ted Muenster ever suggested, supported or enacted at USD, but I guess that's exactly why I'm scratching my head as to why he and his wife get the new student center named after them.
Really, I was thinking something more like, The Bob Barker-Come On Down Student Center [or at least the game room], The Tom Brokaw Center for Second Chances or hell, even The Pat O'Brien Pad at The University of Sex and Drugs would've done in a pinch.
But, I guess the building names go where the money goes.
