... the hell?

Okay, so This American Life has a MySpace. We've dealt, added and gotten comments shilling for the product and generally still love the show. We tune in every Saturday at 6 p.m., faithfully.

[Anyone remember the days of "Your Radio Playhouse," bee-tee-dubs?]

But the thing is, TAL always shows as "Online now." All the time.
I keep odd hours and it doesn't matter when I've logged in, 3 a.m., 4:47 p.m. or 9:02 p.m., TAL is always online.

The one question I ask is this: TAL, I applied for an internship with you about two years ago and you R'd me, albeit helpfully, but you still R'd me. Therefore, why didn't you just hire me so I could sit on MySpace all night long to approve friends requests and do mass-commenting/shilling?

Because you know it's interns doing that sort of crap.
Oh well, suck is life.
