Undiscovered Voices
I GOT IN sort of!

I'm on the longlist. They haven't had a longlist and a shortlist in previous years, but it means I know now that if I don't get onto the shortlist (which would get my chapter of Skulk published in the anthology and handed out to agents, editors and other Important Publishing Types all over the country), I will get an Honourable Mention. I find out if I'm on the shortlist in late November.
Plus I get to go to a party in my honour! And like 25 other people. But MOSTLY ME.
So that's all fairly incredibly wonderful and exciting and flattering and terrifying and lovely.
Sara sent the news round the work email so now I have a steady dribble of congratulations coming in. Barring unexpected failure, today should be a pretty good day.
