I heard that there was a good review of Secret Ninja Spies in a children's print magazine, which I've been completely unable to find. But! Today Usborne sent us two links to blog reviews, both of which are really, really nice. :D
Bookbabblers: It’s an exciting book and keeps you turning the pages to see what happens next. (This one is obviously written by an actual child reader, though it doesn't say how old.)
Armadillo: An interesting and unusual story that adds a layer of Japanese exoticism to a story of an elderly relative having some secrets, the child’s dread of a boring holiday and the power of celebrity. (Longer, and more specific, and I'm SO PLEASED about the twins' relationship/use of Japanese comments. :D)
*dance of chuffed*
I really need to get moving on book 3. And not write Cressida: The Blog, or Attack Butler!, or even Skulk unless I've got a chunk of Ninjas done...
Anyway I started SNS3 yesterday, which is only a day or two late. I wrote a joke about pocket money. I don't think it was very funny, but that's what the second draft is for.
