Oh LJ. Even I get that this is a facepalmy move. 1000 Dreamwidth coders just punched the air. Speaking of which, I has DW and I have finally got round to applying the footer code so you can actually tell, so, go me. I think I've got some invite codes, should anyone want to join me on this bandwagon to the dark side.

happydork, could have been on a different vidding related thread I read, sorry I don't remember - was talking about making vids that were one long dance. This is one of those. (It's not particularly fannish, the whole point of it is just, OMG, DANCING MOVIES YAY.) It's pretty incredible. I nearly punched the air with squee by the end. I defy you not to do the same.
Jessie is doing the Great North Swim on Saturday. There is still time to give her money! In fact there will still be time after the swim has actually happened! Which is a good thing because I am now in the red and can't really afford to until my next payday! But look how awesome she is! !!!!!!!
1930s outtakes reel, also made of the win. It's so weird to see all those serious actors doing serious 1930s faces crack up and just look... like people.
The Thick Of It spin off book looks like it might be genuinely awesome.
My incredibly depressing paranoia that the episode is going to be horrible and/or the internet is going to insist that I feel bad about it aside, these two journal entries about Gneil taking his Doctor Who episode to the table reading are utterly utterly adorable and lovely.
This is an awesome Beast Quest cake.
I am thinking about having a birthday party that involves the three Pirates of the Caribbean movies, our new flat, pirate costumes, seafood and rum. I know a recipe for grog, you guys. I don't know if I'd drink it (it's got beer in it) but I'd happily inflict it on other people. The only slight flaw in this (apart from the fear that nobody will come, which I have on kind of an enormous scale and is the reason I don't normally do things for my birthday) is that we have not currently actually got a television. Hrm.
