Neil Gaiman interview with Terry Pratchett about the 25th anniversary of Discworld. Tuesday's Week in the Life post will be up later today after I've managed to get the photos off my phone.
Yesterday we sang, in deepest darkest Greenford. And there were individual microphones, and it was marginally terrifying because we couldn't hear a bloody thing a lot of the time, and yet we knew that all the sound we made, good and bad and random chatter, could be heard loud and clear by a) the sound techs, b) David and c) Ray Davies. But apparently it was good from the front.
Oh, and I saw Midnight. And gah. I thought that was really terrifying, and really nicely done. Part of that might be because I was watching it on my work computer and had exactly the amount of time it took to eat my lunch in, so I was on a clock too. But omg. (Also, how can it be that Donna is so incredibly made of awesome even in an episode like this? Really looking forward to this week's Who, and not just because I think it's the first one with us singing in it :D)
Edit:
The cover from the latest US Buffy comic. Non-spoilery except for the slightly awesome wtf-ery. I have no idea if this is just for the cover or there's actually plot going to happen about this - the UK are a whole plot arc behind. (Lies! See comments...) (
This one is the cover of the next one coming to us - very spoilery and very, very, very awesome.)
