I dislike Any Questions. Especially on Saturdays, because it's on straight after the repeat of The News Quiz, which renders it completely pointless. It's four politicians answering questions about the news. The questions are rarely anything other than 'what happened, what's the party line on it and how do you feel about it'. TNQ is the same, with comedians and no party line (as such). They could extend TNQ to an hour and you'd probably get a more in-depth and honest reaction to the week's events, not to mention that they manage to talk about the same topics and not make it half as depressing. And then Any Answers could be an open topical joke competition, and it would only be a bit painful to listen to instead of making me want to go up to BBC Centre and smash all their equipment with a hammer.
