Been playing Battlefield 2 lately and loving it. It's modern day combat complete with current weapons and vehicles. There is progression for you as earn ranks, medals, badges, and ribbons with each "kit" you play. Kits are basically professions, including sniper (self explanatory), support (combat + supplying teammates with ammunition), medic (combat + supplying healing/rezzing), assault, special forces (stealth), engineer (combat + vehicle repairs) and a few others. It's a ton of fun. I recommend trying to use the medic and his shock paddles (for reviving critically wounded teammates) on an M-1 Abrams tank.
Found out my new schedule today and it is not good. Kris cried her eye's out, and I felt horrible. It's bad enough that she has her hands full at night with the kids by herself. I had the choice of having Weds/Thurs. off or Sun/Mon off, both of which are going to be really hard on the family. We'll get through it but some days will be tough. I wish there were something I could do to make her life easier. She does everything she can to make mine as easy as possible. Taxes are due back in about a week, and we're going to a bed and breakfast which will be awesome. I miss just having time with her and I.
Super Bowl is two days away and I think a friend or two may come over and maybe my dad. I'm picking the Steelers despite the fact that I can't stand Joey Porter who has as big a mouth as Terrell Owens. I swear to God I don't know that state can handle to ego's and mouths of that size.
Anyhoo I'm whupped. I think I will actually get some sleep tonight. Oh and the 100th episode of Smallville ruled. Peace y'all.
