[OOC] High School AU
Yao is an incoming freshman at AUH. He is coming in a bit late in the term because he had back surgery recently. Headmaster Honda Kiku is his uncle, and his parents decided that they wanted him to be in school so he could catch up on his studies but in a more secure environment than ordinary day school while they had to frequently be away on business. Yao is very good at math, taking Calculus as a Freshman, but he is looking for something to make him feel more fulfilled. His parents have never really let him participate in anything except math competition for fear that his grades would suffer, but coming to the boarding school provides him with a new and unique opportunity to find himself.
He has a stuffed panda that he keeps on his bed, but apart from that he has very few novelties. He likes very neutral colors, and he is also partial to red. He wears his school uniform exactly as prescribed, although he does have some other much more casual clothing. He is a stickler for rules, in part out of habit, but also because he knows if he gets into trouble with his uncle that his parents would be furious.
