Sometimes when I play any of the "Sims" games, I start to run out of money. There is a feature that will allow you to speed up time and increase your rate of income. Only problem is you end up wasting a lot of time and, in the case of "SimCity", your roads start to crumble, citizens get angry with you, and all sorts of other problems arise. You take those chances, sure, but sometimes the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.
If my life had this feature, it would be set on triple speed. I've worked the last 7 days straight and am scheduled for the next 7 also. I've piled up a considerable amount of money so far and intend to make at least another six or seven hundred by the end of the week. I haven't been to the gym for a while, and my personal relationships could use a boost, but I'm intent on fast-forwarding to next week when I can pay off debts and be comfortable financially. At least for a little while. I probably shouldn't be throwing away weeks of my life but the outcome is justified in my opinion. Don't expect to see much interesting happen for a while.
