1. Leave me a comment saying, “Interview me.”
2. I will respond by asking you 5 questions of a very personal nature.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed you will ask them 5 questions.
I. Which of your friends do you have the most respect for? Why?
Of all my friends I have I think I respect Sarah the most. Sarah and I have had a real good friendship for almost 7 years now. She is definatley one of my closest friends and I can tell her almost anything. I don't think of her as family but she sure does know that if something happed to me, she is easily one of the first people I would cal. She is extremly trustworthy and understanding. She rocks! :]
II. If you could create any law to be imposed on this country unchallenged, what would it be?
If I could create one, unchallenged law, it would be a universal progress law. This law would enabgle leading organizations in science, medicine, and technology be able to expirement with things with little restrictions, the only restrictions would be that it must not have a harmfull test process to the patients, and for tech it must not be able to destroy mankind, well... if there's at least a 1% chance it can destroy mankind then it should not be risked. A law like this would let scientists develop stem cells with no barriers, help find alternative fuel sources, and help bring us to the stars with more ion colliders and reasearch facilities, dark matter exists people!
III. If you could erase one thing from the history of your ancestors, what would it be?
Well which ancestors? I am half German and an obvious thing I would take back would be the third reich. My oma and her family (the mildenburgers) did not agree with nazi policy but I can understand their conforming out of fear. It is a dissapointing thing that a political party in a country can control and opress its own people, as well as people outside of its own nation. But what happened happened; I would change that. My other ancestors are (apparently) native puerto ricans, this could be a lie from my grandfather and I could just be islan/spanish decent, but the family came from puerto rico. I really don't know enough about our past for me to want to change things, maybe I would have wanted my grandfather to change things about himself? I don't know.
IV. Do you want children? Why or why not?
Yes and no. I would want to have children because its a part of human nature, to pass on your genetic material, especially for men, to spread your seed. I also have always thought of having a family later in live, like one or two children. I also would NOT want children because of the constant struggle a parent has to go thru, teaching their kid how they see fit all while having to fight againt all the bullshit they see or learn from teachers, tv, opinionated soccer moms, ect. Plus, there are also way too many human beings on earth, 10 in 2010 anyone?
V. What do you consider your greatest accomplishment? Easy, climbing the tooth of time in new mexico, hiking 67 miled with patella tendinitus and little to no painkillers, try it, its hard. 3000 foot climb and rough weather doesn't help either
