(no subject)
everybody can just ignore the previous emo-like entry...I'm so happy. John's last night was awesome.
Charlotte, John and I layed out on the stone dock looking at the stars and just talked for a while. he thinks the Canadian accent I've developed is cute...there was lots of hugging and picture-taking...once Charlotte sends me the pictures I'll post them up. but it was just so awesome...lots of laughing. I burned him two CDs, DMB's Stand Up and the Footloose soundtrack - I'm SO excited I know another person who likes Footloose.
I don't know why I'm so damn happy, because he left yesterday, but for one thing he's coming back up later this summer and for another...everything seemed to advance so much in his last night. I can't even describe it. I'm just so freakin' HAPPY! I think he knows I 'like' him, and I think he might like me too. everything's working out. Charlotte gave me her blessing to marry him, lol.
apparently Kara and some of the Highlands wanted him to come to little baldy with them, but he turned them down because we were coming over. ^_^
then he said that they were going to pick him up and go play music, and he thought that I should come too. that idea was eventually cut because I thought it would be rude to just invite myself over, but at first I said no because I didn't think Kara would be very happy if I tagged along. John was completely oblivious, it was so cute. he was like "Why wouldn't she want you to come?" so I explained it to him. he said "I guess I'm flattered...but I'm not really into girls like that."
needless to say, THAT made me really happy. I just love how he had no idea that she might have those kinds of intentions.
everything that happened Friday night and Saturday morning was just awesome. Charlotte and I went over there to give him the CDs I burned for him at 8, and he said it was sweet that I wrote the tracklists down. also, Charlotte took this AMAZING picture of John and I that makes me smile like an idiot every time I see it.
*happy sigh*
and then Char and I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest yesterday - it was SO good. there's a third one coming out next year.
basically, I'm just really happy right now.
