i just got home from spending a few days at my cousins' house in the Hamptons. i had a seriously amazing time hanging out with ktmac. if she ever wants to join my family, she's totally welcome. she'll fit right in. and she's not intimidated by the craziness of mama turk. we took a ton of pictures, so as soon as kt gets home from nyc next week and puts them online i'll post some.
the wedding insanity is beginning. i'm excited and stressed and nervous, and its not even my wedding. its all pretty surreal but i'm sure this week will be.. memorable. getting large amounts of my family together always is.
in terribly depressing news.. the turkmobile is out of commission getting a new motor until next friday. the one week when i dont have work and it would be really helpful to have another car around, and i have no car. this makes me angry.
i'm feeling very social so hang out with me!
ps- i'm reading Daniel Quinn's Ishmael for APES.. its nuts. has anyone read it?
