An Dro

On sunday afternoon,
zomermaantje
endimi
trinket410 and
riding_wolf came over to help me out with a school project. On Wednesday (being today) I wanted to do an initiation of court dancing for my third graders (15 years old), as the day was set in the Ancien Regime.
Both ladies taught me the An Dro, an ancient Breton dance, while Trinket accompanied us on his guitar. Very practical! Riding Wolf had tagged long as I promised to serve them chocolaty thingies. And so there was a chocolate mousse and later on a chocolate fondue. Good times were had, and I did learn a very nice dance indeed.

Today I taught this dance to 20 boys and girls aged 15. Can't say the boys were overly enthusiastic, but the girls were. Anyway, in little over an hour I managed to make half of them dance a perfect An Dro, while the other half kept stumbling over their own two feet and making mayonaise with their arms.  It was fun though :-)

So, yet another very big thank you, people! It was really worth while!
