Happy Memorial Day...kind of an oxymoron
I got a part-time job waiting tables at Denny's. The extra hours aren't as difficult to manage as I thought they would be, although it's a beautiful day and I have to go to work after work, so that sucks. Working at Denny's, however, is as shitty as you all think it is. Actually, to be fair, only saturday mornings seem to suck because of all the caddy, bitchy, five-year-old girls that work there Saturday morning. I'm only working Friday night from 5:30-11pm and Saturday morning from 8am-2pm but for the past three weeks I've been taking a couple of shifts during the week so I can get my f'ing training out of the way. This week, for instance by the end of my shift tonight I will have worked a 56 hour work week. Yeah. How about that.
