I Should Have Known Better
I should have figured something like this would happen. After all, it's my life, isn't it? Things rarely work out how I hope or expect. Basically, it was a day for canceled plans. First Rachel called and said that she couldn't stop by for lunch like we had planned, and then theater guy called to say he was sick and had to cancel our date. He said he'd try to make it up to me, but I'm going back to school on Monday and I'm working most of the weekend. *sigh* Too bad. I was really looking forward to the date, too.
