*Delicious pastry breakfast again.
*Taxi to the Metropolitan Museum of Art
*OMG this Museum is HUGE we can only get through half of it
*Gyros from a street vendor just outside the Museum
*Back to the paint your own pottery place to finish our piece
*Got rental car
*Spent hour trying to get out of Manhattan, most of which I spent feeding J sugar so he'd calm down (how is that for ironic?)
*Drove through NJ
*Stopped in Netcong at the pizza place J used to go to when he lived there
*Drove to PA
*Evening with J's dad, step-mom and brother & sister
Saturday
*Morning mostly spent with J's brother
*Drove to the Newark airport to pick up J's maternal uncle who was flying in from Austin after coming out for our wedding and dropped him off in Morristown
*Saw J's paternal grandpa who is in a Morristown rehab hospital recovering from heart surgery
*Saw J's paternal grandma, aunt, uncle & cousins in Dover
*Dinner with J's maternal uncles and cousins in Rockaway
*Oh hey look there's a Hilton across the street from the restaurant. Shiny
Tomorrow we drive back into the city, fight Manhattan traffic to return the rental car and then take a taxi or something to the airport. It apparently costs $100 to return your rental car to the airport if you didnt rent it from there and thats more than the car cost in the first place. Almost home!
