a damn good day
i just got home from seeing shrek 2. it was really funny and cute, but not as good as the first one. i went to see it with katie and mike which was good cause katie needs more nights out with friends, and mike needs to be around katie when he's around me or else he's totally mopey. i know it sounds mean, but i wish he could just get over the fact that we're not together anymore. he's thinking too deep into it and it's just gonna wear him down, i know it.
but on to better news. tim called me today, which was so great. it's the first time i've actually talked to him since i came home. i didn't really say much (i've never been a good phone talker) but i didn't have to. just hearing tim's voice made my day ten times better. i really miss him, and i can't wait till he comes to see me.
i got my grades today for the past semester and i was expecting to see an f after calculus. but to my surprise and utter joy, i got a B!!! I PASSED CALCULUS!!! it's a miracle, and he must have curved the grade but i still passed. no more math for lauren, yay! i passed everything else too, which is good. now i just have to worry about next semester.
