all by myself...
if you've ever gone to a show by yourself..then you'll understand my entry. going solo to a show is rather enjoyable in its own right. i went to a doughty show tonight in jersey by myself. and i had a really good time. at first i was a bit apprehensive. i arrived. ugh. by myself. ordered a glass of wine. ok. three girls behind me made the first part of my evening almost unbearable. they just kept yapping about caroline[?yeah i don't know...and how bitchy she was], and which tit she should have mike sign. the left or the right??? and i found myself wishing they'd choke on their apple martinis. but as the night progressed, i met a few more people that were there by themselves and we ended up forming a pretty cool clique. [p.s. being a girl by yourself tends to lead to men buying you drinks...so that's a plus as well]
mike doughty..well he just is mike doughty. he rocks. i had a great time. and i'm going to see him again. tonight. thursday. yay. he signed my shirt. and i meant to say something really profound to him but all that came out was," hey mike. will you sign my shirt?" then i grabbed him and hugged him and one of my newfound friends snapped a picture. so when i get that pic i will be sure to send it to everyone i know. me and mike doughty. aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh.
