We got a fucking limo. <=D

I'm at Amanda's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*dances mucho!*

It's been kinda weird, but incredibly wonderful. I'm just so damn happy to be here. We've gone to the mall, which was fun, mostly because we went to the little 'sleep number bed' store cause we were tired. And oh my GOD it was comfortable! We could have totally laid there for the rest of the day, but this guy came up and was like "uh, you know, we charge you if you fall asleep." I was like "Yeah, how much?" He said "Um, w-well, lemme just say it's more cost effective to buy the bed.

If I'd been less tired I woulda jumped up and looked him in the eye and said "Really? I'll believe that wehen I see some fucking documentation of that, you cheap ass liar. Now go away and let me take a nap."

...but I WAS tired.

...so I didn't. Lame.

We also went to the famous Angelo's, which is really only famous to us and the people in our heads (we were mentally blocking the actions of the big fight scene in the parking lot), but it has really yummy breadsticks. We over-ate at Olive Garden, which is, as always, fun. But we didn't read Breaking Dawn there cause Amanda doesn't wanna read it until she finishes "The Host". That dirty, dirty whore... but I love her.

And - get this - we went to the release party last night in a limo.

It's a motha fuckin limo.

And yes, yes, YES, all the hype is true! It was so much fun! Amanda and I went with her friends Matty (who's a sweetheart, and dead funny) and Tara (who comes up with the most brilliant, perfectly-timed one-liners ever), both of whom are thoroughly awesome. We wore our fancy dresses - I was in full prom garb, but sans the crazy curly up-do. We wmet at Barnes& Noble first, grabbed some coffee, and let the baristas (who were also all Twilight-ified with werewolf scratches and vampire bites) know the deal. Then we got in the limo, which was driven by this sweet guy named Jimmy, and we just messed around with the crap in there... switching the music around, mesing with the lights, and shouting out the roof. Yeah, there was the whole hole-in-the-roof-to-shout-out-of thing. 'Twas tres fun. We had dinner at Acropolis, and I had to take benadryl cause I hate a bite of sinfully good chocolate cake. It wasn't SUPPOSED to have nuts in it, but, well, such is life.

We went to WalMart. In our fancy clothes. And the limo. It was beautiful.

We all adopted these bitchy ass personas to use in the restaurant and such. Matty was a songwriter who'd ghostwritten about a million hit songs, and was paid an exorbitant amount not to say which ones so that the singers/bands could take the credit. He was currently working on his first Broadway show. And he was a total playboy. Tara was an heiress to the Kellogg Cereal fortune (I laugh even now just thinking about it), who was very politically active, but also pretty vain and shallow. Sort of Paris Hilton meets Angelina Jolie, only without the talent. ...of the latter half. I'm sure Tara's make-believe-heiress has enough talent to make a sex tape. Amanda was a famous actress, currently in Joss Whedon's upcoming Buffy continuation movie. All very hush-hush. Oh, and she was like a total slut.
I was an actress too, and probably asexual. But so totally focused on my career that I'd fuck just about anyone to get to the top. If fact, I did - three Broadway producers for my first big roles. But I haven't since then! I swear! And god, that was one... three times!!! That's not as bad as some people! Oh, and I pretty much manipulated everyone around me, telling them all what to do so that we could manage the tabloids and press appropriately to get enough media attention without "becoming a Lindsay". Yeah, I was a total bitch. XD

The release party was fun, but considering that I'd been up since 11pm the night before to catch my flight, AND I'd had benadryl at the restaurant? I sort of... um... started getting a little weird. You know. Half not talking, half talking incoherently. A little bit of interpretive dance and a lot of crawling around Barnes & Noble cause I was too tired to walk. ;)

We might go to the drive-in tomorrow. That or just stay in and read "Breaking Dawn" all day (I'm getting her to finish "The Host" by writing an obscenely long post right now so she can't get on the computer instead of letting her reply on Ankh).

2 weeks left. :) I'm so loving this. I love this girl! Best friend!

Ta!
-Tamora/Julie

P.S. It's kinda getting odd introducing myself as "Tamora" 24/7.

P.P.S. Oh, and Manda's totally getting me hooked on "Malcolm in the Middle". It's so silly!
