yeah. that's about $750 of denim, a fabric that used to basically clothe railroad workers. if i could wear jeans, a tank top or t-shirt, and some sort of jacket every day for the rest of my life, i would be very happy.
i made friends with the bliss beautician who was giving hand treatments at blumercury today--we bonded over the fact that we both still miss new york after a shamefully long period of time during which we have, in fact, lived other places. she gave me a little sample of some non-bliss product that will apparently set me back $90 if i decide i need it. knowing me, i'll decide i need it.
why do i like to pretend that i have some sort of trust fund?
i did save some money today, though--both times i was in town, i got street parking. plus, Julia and I went to hear Barbara Bonney sing Grieg songs w/ the Philly Orchestra, and after we bought our $8 student vouchers, a woman gave us two $120 tickets (in a box!) that weren't being used. as my aunt always says, that means i won't win the lottery this week.
probably since i'm awake that means i could get some work done.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
seriously, though...i'm going to get ready for bed.
