today's dog story
I had a sinus headache and tried to lie on the couch. Note I say tried. Kelly kept licking and licking and licking my face, relentless. I covered my face with my hand. She stopped.
But I neither heard nor felt her leave.
So I spread two fingers--live long and prosper--and peeked out.
And found myself staring into a big brown eye about an inch and a half away.
Waiting.
Yanno she had to tuck down her long Spy V Spy1 nose to accomplish that.
Kelly, you nut.
I closed my fingers. Live short and die poor? Waited. Opened them again. She was still there.
Still waiting...or thinking?
Wonder if I should be worried.
