Spring.  Rain, robins...and we have black squirrels here.  Well, at least one black squirrel.  He/they run/s along the back fence.  I never in life saw a squirrel that wasn't gray before.  Oh wait...I saw a white one once.  Maybe it was a ghost squirrel.  Anyhow, black squirrels are cool.

Our squirrels are brown. Black ones are like... superhero squirrels! You know, in their bat-squirrel outfits.

We have red squirrels here. They look like little one pound foxes. And flying squirrels, too. They don't so much fly as use loose flaps of skin between their legs and torso to glide from tree to tree. Pretty cool to watch, but I haven't seen one since we were in Chadd's Ford.
I saw a purple squirrel once, but that's a whole other story.......

You're probably going to hate my family for this, but... my uncle Hubert shot two black squirrels and my uncle Mike is having one of them mounted. :\
