Why I love them or why I wish they'd go die in a fire: OH SCOTT. At first I tried to really like him, but at the start of the show he kept hitting all these buttons that just made me dislike him (he wasn't a very loyal friend and I prize loyalty/friendship pretty highly, he was tat trope of I WANT TO BE NORMAL and angsty about his abilities that, hontestly, have very little drawbacks, he also routinely selfishly put other people in danger because he wanted to play lacrosse/be with Allison and wouldn't listen when people tried to help him so that he could control himself and these things would be safer)--BUT! he got better and his character developed and grew from his mistakes and I really, really love him? He TRIES SO HARD and he wants to keep everyone safe and he's just... gotten more mature and has grown into a really lovely boy? He's the little werewolf that could! And I do love him a lot.
My OTP for the character: Scott/Allison 5eva. But I do also really OTP Scott/Jackson and Scott/Derek and Scott/Isaac, for reasons.
My favorite gen relationship with this character: SCOTT AND STILES BROS 4 LYFE. Sometimes I romantically ship them and it confuses me, but mostly I just really, really love their friendship. Also, Scott and his mommy, their relationship is perfection.
An unpopular opinion about this character: I don't think he is the NICEST EVER? He's a teenage boy; he can be a selfish asshole when he wants to be. This does not dimimish the good he does or intends to do, but I feel a lot of fandom sees him as this shining golden boy full of goodness and light, and idk, I am uncomfortable with that pedestal they've put him on.
One thing I wish would have happened with this character in canon: I really kind of want to see him have a darkness arc? Which is weird, I know, but I think he has the potential to go to really dark places, if shoved in the right direction and I think it'd be interesting to see.
An idea I have for the character that I haven't written yet/won't ever write for whatever reason: I don't really have Scott fic ideas? But--I really want to somehow make a Scott/Jackson/Allison threesome/poly relationship work because I have all these feelings and no idea what to DO with them.

I basically agree with everything you said? He took a little warming up in S1, and I especially loved him in this season, trying to protect everyone even when he doesn't have any reason to. And yes, my heart will be broken forever if Scott and Allison don't end up together, which is what makes it so hard for me to ship them with anyone else but this show makes me ship EVERYTHING. When I'm looking for fic, I always see Stiles being shipped with everybody, but nope, it's Scott/Everyone that's really the heart of the show. He just has perfect relationships with everybody! Obviously Allison, but also Derek, Jackson, Isaac... I love him and Stiles (...I may ship it. A lot.) AND MELISSA MCCALL IS PERFECT.
And of course, I'd be really curious to read Scott/Jackson/Allison, mostly because everything you write is awesome and I love every side of this, and also because I'm going crazy with all the Derek/Stiles everywhere. Okay, it's cool, I can see the appeal, but there's so many glorious ships too!
