Life 'N Stuff

Had a pretty good day yesterday. Got some laundry done, had lunch with Angel and my sister Beej (bjlepera) who is currently pregnant--YAY! (I think we could use another girl, but I don't think my niece, Ashley, would be down with that.) Beej is also recovering from having her heart stopped for 5 seconds by the doctors in order to reboot her system and stop her heart's rapid beating. I don't know what the condition she has is called, but it basically translates into rapid heartbeat. We're hoping the cardiologist she's been referred to has some answers, more importantly some solutions. Beej and I also did some window shopping at Pier One (dying to go shopping, but I don't have anywhere to put anything), and got my car washed.

Got a chance to water and check on the plants yesterday; sprouting slow and steady. I picked this up at Fred Meyer while searching for shade-friendly shrubbery with Angel. It'll make starting seeds easier, using the mini greenhouse that my mom has and I forgot about! (I was reminded of it in an earlier post by ntrlstgrl and my good friend Mo--thanks for that BTW ladies!).

Put some ant killing stuff outside in order to deter the ants that were beginning to be an issue a few weeks ago, I haven't seen them for a while but I don't want to take any chances! I hate bugs!

Had some of the best burgers ever at Angel's, and some leftover strawberry cake compliments of yours truly. Yum. And tried to watch HBO's Elizabeth but friggin On Demand kept screwing up and we kept missing the very end.

Today I'm being lazy, playing Neopets with the new account I broke down and opened. Need to remember to wash my uniform for work tomorrow. Got caught up with bills on line. I need to find the fishing license I got last year and mail it in before the end of the month.

Most importantly, I've got some Sims to play.

BTW--anyone else having trouble with getting a blank screen every time you click on the Preview button? Just wondering.

day-to-day, good times, gardening
