Poisonous Day
I swear. I went to work in an okay mood, not especially thrilled, but it was 6 AM and I didn't want to be awake yet and I'm kind of grumpy, but sure to get over it after I get into my groove and get a mocha.
Such was not the case. Deborah was pissed all day, and bitching all day and eventually her mood was like a freakin virus that infected my mood causing me to get pissy and get a headache. It was so stupid! I was able to resist at first, but after a while it really got to me. I think that's what bugs me most of all, that I let someone else's mood affect my own. I even got pissed at the music choice for the day, and I'm usually cool with classic rock.
Wanna know what she was so pissed about? Gloria called her at home to tell her that she'll be going into work early on Saturday because her grand daughter has a "thing" and wondered if Deb wanted to go too. That was it. Deb got all bent out of shape over that. She kept ranting about Glo calling her at home for "stupid shit that she could care less about, and why would she call her at home?" I said, "because people tend to invite others they consider their friends to things they would like to share with them." Anyway, it was ridiculous.
