Crimeny's sake, I can't believe I was just gonna post that bitchy (albeit somewhat tame) rant and say nothing about the good times had by all yesterday.
Sunday was
Art On The Ave in Tacoma. Plenty o' fun, did sprinkle a little, though. It's just a good time where part of 6th Ave is blocked off and artists, food vendors, and live bands set up in the street. I love live bands, but I have to admit that I get pretty uncomfortable around large crowds of people. I got the chance to check out a couple of little shops I was wanting to see, Posh Home and this cute little kitchen store that has the Le Crueset pots I'm dying for. Laura and I ogled...it was good. We had lunch at
Shakabrah of course, where the hell else would we eat?
We went back to T&L's house to watch
Hotel Rwanda and I must say, wow. Hell of a thing to happen, I highly recommend. It was as if a holocaust happened right under everyone's noses and nobody noticed.
Click Here to make a difference. This doesn't exactly fall under the "good times had by all" category, but learning about world happenings is always good.
Now that I've successfully brought myself down, off I go. N-out.
