Washington DC apartment hunting sucks! HELP: Suggesions on what to do.

My dilemma:

So I've been apartment hunting for a couple of weeks now and haven't come up with much at all. I've e-mailed so many people on Craigslist but only a handful got back to me and the ones that have don't seem to be interested.

Personally, I would keep looking. Landing that perfect apartment that you love is such a great feeling, and it's good to love where you live. It sucks that it's so difficult! I wish you luck!
