Not quite a sunny week.

But a week nonetheless.
Made it through my ridiculously rough week at Greenpeace and at least got the kudos of some of the higher-uppers at the office that considering the crap that was going on I did quite well, all things considered.
Sadly, I didn't get the internship that I applied for at Amnesty International. Another thing to add to the rejection pile. Ugh.
Spent most of the day sleeping for no other reason than I had nothing to really do today. I had stuff to do yesterday but I didn't. Bah. It's just been that kind of week, I suppose. I did, however, manage to go out and watch The Hurt Locker which I heard was quite good but I wasn't horribly impressed. Yeah, it was ok, but... I dunno, not the most amazing thing out there. Worth watching but I think I could have saved the $14.50AU concession movie fare and caught it out on DVD. Oh well.
I also just bought a ticket to see Amanda Fucking Palmer who has a show coming up this Friday here in Melbourne, which should be pretty cool. I'm also going to a guilty pleasure of mine's show as well on Tuesday - Paramore. Yeah, yeah, I feel a wee twinge admitting that I like them but... well, you know, they're not horrible or anything... And next month will be my VIP ticket to the Emilie Autumn show which I am seriously, seriously looking forward to!!
Was hoping to also go to New Zealand to meet a friend but that fell through so it looks like I won't be heading to the Kiwi country for a while yet, if ever.
My university starts in a week too, which I am sort of looking forward to but also sort of not... I just know that it means my life will get even more busy and probably more complicated as well. I guess I'll just have to deal. I always do.
And that's all I've got at the moment. No rants today, which is good.
