Seoul is...
...definitely not what I expected especially since I'm staying in the international area of Itaewon.
I've done a bit of sightseeing, gone shopping, visited cultural sites, ate spicy binbinbap and Korean BBQ with soju, met lots of crazy and interesting people, and drank far more alcohol and coffee than I am wont to do in my days in Japan. Seoul is so much more international than I thought and there are foreigners all over the place - and a lot of them live here. I don't get the crazy stare-at-the-foreigner looks that I do in Osaka. It's actually far more interesting than I thought it would be.
I am having a rather decent time, better than I thought I would be. Life is going pretty darn good. One more full day here in Seoul before back to Japan. Man, but I'm so tired. It's 3:30am right now and I am just beat!! Time to sleep.
