Today I was a model ~

~ at a fashion show in Osakako.
It was a bit of a strange experience - there were around 20 Japanese models (some actual models-in-training and some just regular girls and boys), 2 foreign boy models, and 2 foreign girl models except the other foreign girl got last minute cold feet and couldn't do it so there was only one foreign girl model - me. Kyaaaa.
But actually it wasn't too bad. I feel like I should have been more nervous but the only thing I was worried about was some of the shoes that I had to walk in. Thankfully I did fine and a lot of people complemented me on my the sharpness of my walking and posing (I guess some of the Japanese models didn't pose so well....?) so I guess that's good.
I had to wear 5 very different outfits, most of which I wasn't a huge fan of but one of which I really liked (I got to wear a lovely dark brown/black leather waist cincher that was darling with a gothic lolita mini-hat and a mini black ruffled skirt with huge towering black loli KERA-esque shoes that were too small for me! Ouch. But they were pretty! I wanted to steal them if they were in my size!! Though really, I wanted to steal the corset the most because it was in my size!).
The show started off slow for me (my first two outfits had a lot of time in between) but then I was in the last 3 designer's sets so it got really hectic for me at the end and I closed the show in a frilly white angelic lolita dress complete with yellow and white flowers in a straw basket. I had to throw a kiss to the audience as I walked back stage. Haha. That was sort of odd but that's how the show ended - with my kiss. Chu~.
After that lunch and then I had run to meet a new private student for the first time. I really liked her so I really hope she contacts me to meet up again sometime!!
And that was my Sunday. I feel accomplished - just a bit....
And now? Dinner maybe and lazy relax time.
And when I get pictures I'll post a couple here...
(shoot, I forgot about the Pirates of the Dotombori comedy show at Balas tonight! Bugger!! Ooooh well. Maybe I'll catch them at the Sam & Dave's show on the 31st)
