This past week and things to come -

This past weekend I met with some really lovely people from Hong Kong and showed them around Shinsaibashi and later on Osaka castle (hence the photo). They'll return the favor when I go to Hong Kong for a couple of days this December. Sweeeet. Reciprocation is awesome.

Later that night I had some lovely Turkish food with some Japanese friends. I was hard pressed to keep up with all of them as most of the time they were speaking in Japanese, though one of them is completely fluent in English. Good practice for me, though:

Sunday I had a wonderful time hanging out with the awesome Nancy from Australia who's here to try and get a mini-art show going before heading home next month. Good luck to that.
And just a head's up for those in L.A. - Neil Gaiman's gonna read chapter 7 from his new book, The Graveyard Book up in Santa Monica on Monday (the 6th) for any that can make it. Know that I envy you.
Upcoming this weekend is some sort of autumn festival in downtown Osaka that I am considering going to. Will I see anyone there?
Lastly, I leave you with a video of The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus which looks to be amazing!!!
