The culinary bug bit...

...and with a very limited amount of select foods I tried my best to make pumpkin soup on this dreary and rainy evening. It was not a great success; it was edible and had the chance of being rather tasty, however it was a bit boring.
But, I still have some sweetened pumpkin mush - I mean puree - that I can use for other things. Maybe I can try to squish it into a somehow-sweetened pita bread to make a pumpkin empanada? This bears some thought.
