(no subject)
Last night was awesome.
Jake was leaving from work, and the district manager was outside trying to fix the speakers on the patio. This is the man that everyone is scared of. When he walks in, everyone panics, and everything has to be done exactly the right way. Jake noticed he was having a little trouble with the speakers, so he asked if he needed some help. He said no, that they were all shot, and he was going to buy some new ones. Well, Jake decided to have a look anyway. Jake ended up fixing 6 out of the 8 broken ones. The district manager was so happy and gave Jake free dinner for 2. I thought he deserved more than that for saving him more than $300, but I like free food. So, we did just that. We had the ultimate feast.
We started off with wings and a texas rose. Then, I had the 14oz. Texas Ribeye with a baked potato and salad. Jake had a huge steak as well. He also had like 5 Bud Lights, and I had some virgin drinks. Then we had the big brownie blast for dessert. Jake's brother wanted some food too. He gave us a $20. So, we ordered his food thinking we'd have to pay for it since the district manager said dinner for 2. We get the bill and EVERYTHING was paid for. So, we left the $20 from Jake's brother for the tip, and I have left overs for a week. I love food.
Why Jake and I are a such a great couple:
Me: Jake, do you need me to wash any clothes for tomorrow?
Jake: Yes, it's all in the dumpster.
*About 5 minutes of laughing, trying to catch my breath*
Me: You mean the hamster?
*About another 10 minutes for me to get out the word hamper.*
It really wasn't that funny, but I can't stop laughing every time I think about it.
Less than 2 weeks until my due date. The doctor said he "hopes" it won't be that long. Whatever that means. I have an appointment Thursday. He "hopes" to see me before then. I hope so too, but I don't feel like anything is happening. He has moved down, but I'm still not dilated.
I'm still waiting to get my new car. Hopefully by tomorrow, no later than Tuesday. We have to wait until they sign over the title and checks go through or whatever. I don't get that stuff. I didn't realize buying a car from someone was so complicated.
I'm going to take a nap, then go walk Loco when I wake up. I've been going walk as much as I can. They say it's supposed to help you go into labor. I'll try anything. Plus, Loco gets to go play with the ducks by the lake.
