Another great video.
I've been talking about Maximum The Hormone ever since I was in Japan, and I've just gotten into another song of theirs called Koi No Mega Lover. It has the same thing going for it that I like about another of their songs, Louisiana Bob, and this one has a pretty good video to go along with it - this is the second MTH video to tell a story, something I wished happened more in music videos anyway. Without further ado, Koi No Mega Lover!
As you can see, we've got specific showcasing of all of the band members (except the drummer Nao), as well as a pretty cute and funny side story, and even some great dancing by the mud-covered people. What really clinches this song for me are two things: first, their switching back and forth from a-melodic thrash metal and ultra-happy pop-rock, and second I just LOVE it when Maximum the Ryo-kun does his crazy fast rap. I can almost sing along with Louisiana Bob when I listen to it on the treadmill when I work out (holy shit, I work out!), but this is going to be a challenge.
