Been a long time, been a long time.....
Hi all... it's been a lazy saturday, which is exactly what we needed today cause we've been running around so much!
did I post about the spearhead show we went to in baltimore? I didn't? Well, let me tell you about it........
IT WAS FUCKIN AWESOME!
yeah, so there. Of course it was.. and I got to do a little of everything... got drunk, watched the show with tim, danced in a corner in my drunken state for about half an hour, and moved down close to the stage and got to see Michael franti and the band up close.
baltimore was great too... we loved the inner harbor and plan on trying to go back sometime in the summer maybe.
ummmmmmmm, what else is going on??? work is ok... there apparently is a mouse in our office so someone put up those sticky mouse traps... I hope I see the little guy! They're cute as long as they don't make a surprise move at me and scare me.
I guess I'm going to NYC on the weekend of the 13th! Hopefully dream_a_highway and I can visit a raw food restaurant and spend a nice day in the city doing girly stuff.
After that tim is going to germany pretty much after I get back so we'll have like a week and a half where we won't see much of each other. saddness... *BUT* tim can bring me home cool german trinkets and things!
Tim and I have started jogging together too! We started on thursday night .. mostly jogging a block or two then walking a block or two ... but I can really feel it already and we've only done it for two days (we took today off cause my body was really sore)... He claims that it's the best workout and he can "whip me into shape".. .we'll see. But it is nice working out together and I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would. Maybe one day I'll really be a "runner".
We're getting really close to the end of the Six feet under series.. I'm going to be sad when it's over.. haha, that sounds so dumb but it's true. It's such a great show and I really felt like I knew those characters.... I can't imagine how it's going to end... I think we have maybe 6 or 7 more episodes to go through.
I'm planning on taking my Level II raw food course soon... maybe may or june. It's a two day course and once I finish it I can teach raw food classes!! I'm so excited and hope to start teaching classes by next year (after we do the wedding/honeymoon stuff).. and speaking of raw foods.. there is an amazing raw food festival in Arizona in October that I'm trying to get out to. I signed up to be an affiliate for them and I know that there aren't many people who read my livejournal who would be into this.. but I'm going to post this here anyway and maybe if anyone reading this knows someone who would be interested.. you can tell them about it and if they decide to go to the fest and register, they could do it through me and I'll get credit for it.... here is the link to the site and to register through if you want to do it through me:
thanks guys.. please if you know anyone who would want to go talk to them about it and refer them here. It's not just about raw foods either.. it's about peace and activism and the environment and there will be music there and supposedly woody harrelson and alicia silverstone might be there as well!
Ok.. and um.. the only other thing to talk about is how my mom is going to fly me to texas for a weekend.. maybe in may or june and throw me a bridal shower... it'll be a quick trip but nice to see everyone again and have a small party .... so if you're reading this and in texas and want to come, let me know! It's going to be in lake jackson but if you live in houston or austin and want to drive to it... give me your address and I'll tell my mom so she can send you an invite!
