My dog is weird, part 2

Sep 05, 2007 20:38

So every morning, my dog gets a meaty bone for his breakfast - usually my husband breaks it into pieces and 'hides' them around the house for him to find while we're gone (like he'd put a piece in the beanbag chair that Cody used to be terrified of, or the corner of an armchair chair, or the top of the banister rail.)

So yesterday, we come home from work to find the box of meaty bones, which we keep on the counter, on the floor... with most of them gone.  Naughty puppy.  The ones he couldn't eat we found scattered around a bit, but the funniest part was, we found one in every one of Gary's hiding spots (well, the ones that Cody can actually reach - and isn't still petrified of (he's afraid of our computer chairs because they move by themselves.)   So besides the ones on the kitchen floor, the dining room floor, the family room and living room floors... there was one tucked into a fold of the beanbag chair.  One in the armchair in the living room, one up on the guest bed, and one hiding somewhere (not sure where it was, but he pulled it out of hiding later that night).  It was a bit infuriating, but hilarious at the same time.

You'd think we don't feed him or something.

(The beanbag chair he used to be terrified of - he's still scared of it if we move it, but as soon as it stops moving he'll dig in a bit to find a hidden treat - he wont do that with most things (the computer chairs, if we put a treat on one, he'll just bark at the chair (and us) until we give it to him))
