Peek-a-boo
So I've been MIA for a while dealing with RL stuff.
I went back to work this week doing an hour, 3 days a week. First day was a killer, second day by the end of the hour I could barely make sense of what I was reading, day 3 was a little better but had trouble concentrating.
I've not been able to get through the days I work without napping in the afternoon which I really hate doing and I've had to up my painkillers. Hopefully after a little while things will settle down and even out.
On the bright side I met Robert Patrick (aka Col Sumner -SGA) and what an absolutely charming, generous and affable man he is.
After reading Xanthe's Hiding in Plain Sight archiveofourown.org/works/126151 I stared watching NCIS and I have to say I'm loving it. Thank god there's 8 seasons of it so far, I'm sick and tired of things being canceled after a few seasons.
I cxan't really say the same about Doctor Who at the moment, it's so damn predictable 90% of the time I actually get bored watching it. I'm only still watching it because I'm stubborn and keep willing it to get better.
Never mind, Torchwood will be here soon and I won't even have to pretend there's slash in it because Captain Jack Harkness is the omni-sexual King of Slash and all things naughty.
