I think when I have an apartment I will furnish it with a coffee table and a mattress. I don't think I need much else.
I have come to this conclusion as a result of my current location on a mattress on the floor, with my keyboard on my lap and my moniter resting on an overturned milk crate. I like it. It's rather Zen. I also have been reading Bridget Jones's Diary all day, which is probably where the phrase, "it's rather Zen" came from.
