Raphael progress
I finally attached the trims to the shoulders of the Raphael gown. This is basically how it looks from behind:
I really need a fluffier chemise.... More pictures at http://www.geocities.com/pisslei/raphael . I realize the neck opening of my gown is more square than in the portrait, but as I have very broad shoulders and back, I felt it was necessairy. Oh, the vanity.... ;)
The Raphael gown is basically finished. I'm still debating whether to attach the trims in the fron of the bodice (going down to the waist) or not. Attaching then would be true to the style and the portrait, but I honestly thinks is looks better (and not so German) without. What do YOU guys think?
Of course, I need to work on the jewellery and the partlet. I want all details to be as good as can be before taking the final pictures. The photosession is the fun part, eh?
